"Still My Guitar Gently" – if you have been touched by the disturbing number of the Beatles and many others have been, but has no idea about guitars by yes, well, here is a quick run through.

Guitars basically fall into two categories, acoustic and electric. Guitars are the most traditional acoustic guitars and most commonly used. Made of fine wood, these guitars are hollow and large, do not use any amplification external. Because these are hollow, when connected to electronic devices, acoustic signals in them are transferred to an amplifier. They are suitable for all kinds of music, but I brought the genre of popular music or country better. Acoustic guitars come back in different categories and each has its own features. They are the classic twelve-string, steel, bass and resonator guitars.

Classical guitars have nylon strings and have wider neck compared to other guitars. These guitars are used mainly for classical music and ballads and sounds emanating from them are warm and soft. A classical guitar is excellent for playing the sounds of flamenco as emerging full body of the guitar complements the music style very well. This guitar is also great for strings, plucking, arpeggios and strumming running nails. Given that these guitars have a thick neck, with short fingers, playing with them can be quite difficult.

The twelve-string guitar is composed of twelve strings instead of the more common six-string that make up the majority of the guitars. The chains are so linked that each pair has the same note but with one string tuned an octave higher. A semi-chorus type effect is achieved by the arrangement of the strings.

The guitars steel horizontally reproduce either by their stay in their positions or placing them in the knees of the player. The two main types of guitars are steel guitars lap steel and pedal steel guitars.

Guitars Bass may have strings of four to six, with four-string guitar is the most used. The strings of a guitar low are long and thick and the pitch of the guitar can be hard work. This guitar shows the slow rate of guitars and basses are beginning to be more popular.

Resonator guitars were invented primarily to increase the volume of music from traditional acoustic guitar. These guitars are made of metal, unlike the normal wood and are more popularly used in country music, bluegrass and blues. Also known as resophonic guitars.

Electric guitars are different from those that require sound amplification of music is heard properly. Unlike classical guitars, which have the longest neck and solid or semi-hollow bodies. Must be connected to amplifiers to increase the vibrations generated by playing with these guitars. Archtop Guitars are hollow or semi-solid and the use of thick steel strings and can be electrical or acoustic. Jazz music is played prominently in these guitars and are characterized by their arch-like shape on top.
