This image of electric lead guitar rocking out in one is probably one of the most ubiquitous images associated with rock and roll industry. Whether alone rock guitar associated with afros, fringes and political turmoil of the age of Jimi Hendrix or spandex, makeup and general profligacy of the 1980s, these musical masterpieces are certainly part of American rock and roll heritage. Perhaps the reason that the guitar solos are so often associated with rock music is singularly dramatic effect of the performance. This technique makes the instrument sound fuller and adds harmonic, which for an overall impression even more spectacular. And of course the other component essential for a good rock and roll guitar solo is a performance enthusiast. It's all very well for a guitarist who is incredibly talented and capable of inducing the incredible music of his instrument, but if he can also handle roll on the stage as if he had an epileptic fit, so much the better.

As a rule, the rock guitar solo is a relatively short part of a purely instrumental song. In the classic song alternates verses with the chorus, is often only in the second chorus and third verse. The other common approach is to place the solo at the end of the song. These alone are generally widespread and create a memorable end to the melody. Songs like Guns N 'Roses "November Rain" and The Eagles "Hotel California" are examples of the effectiveness of such wrap up alone. Of course, "Hotel California" is also started with a guitar solo, albeit a shorter one, so you could say that this particular song is preceded and followed by guitar solos.

Another famous guitar solos of the rock genre include Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven," Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb "and Jimi Hendrix" All Along The Watchtower ". And do not forget the song that Michael J. Fox memorable renovated in" Back to the Future " immortal Chuck Berry's "Johnny B. Goode".

It is worth mentioning that in many rock bands, two guitarists actually are actually responsible for the guitar solo (s). The guitarist is the one, who makes incredible music, but the guitarist is just as important as the initiative with accompanying chords and riffs. Also occasionally heard guitar solos are low, but are less popular in rock music in genres like heavy metal, jazz and punk. When used in rock music, bass solos are structured and performed similarly to that of a typical guitar solo, sometimes with musical accompaniment from the verse or chorus.
