I'm thinking about the art of improvisation in the world today. What has led to improvisation? The challenge of getting in front of people and not have nothing ready and find something that makes them think or maybe laugh. For me, I'd rather hear laughter at this point in time, but I think a look of bewilderment or see a hand on the chin or scratch his head is almost as rewarding.

Most people think of laughter and "Who's Line Is It Anyway" when they think of improvisation. (That is, if they know what is, in reality, or even thinking about improvisation.) But improvisation is actually only the art of inventing the story or scene in the act without forethought. So does that history needs to be fun or it can only be thought provoking? In my opinion, depends on the audience, if you have a hearing, and what they expect or are prepared for anything?

A grim, the piercing cry of the intestine may exit the process. I mean, literally, tears streaming down her face. How do you contain that if you're on stage doing improvisation and suddenly it's very personal and real, though is a product of your mind. Everything ties in reality at some level, now what? I got a hamster in my ass during an improvisation on product sales. Or was that about product placement?

But that comes from actual experience of reading people actually doing something, or at least the rumor Internet control. He never enyone rather something alive in the butt? (of course people from other bio-computer, but I mean other small creatures? or maybe ugh ugh ugh ugh) digression I'm sorry, but what I'm saying is that everything comes from somewhere. A personal experience, a movie or program you have seen, something you have read, or "other."

So here's the scenario, people do not know where it goes, you can not tell where to go. (Actually, sometimes people in some so do understand that people are going and flow well, especially after long-term relationships and trust factor, but that's not the norm here)

Suddenly, they break and move people.

Now to the meat of this. This is improvisation. You've had a scene. It is powerful. It's emotional. Brings tears and drama. Cause the throat and gut laughing hitting hurts.

Did you catch and turn it into a scripted show? Is that the goal? Could, should be the purpose? Or is it a moment, and if someone was there to experience it, is lucky or blessed or whatever, but it is a point in time. Never repeats exactly sure, but if the essence of the moment to end in a script?

It is the end point? or the means to an end?

One thing they do in Second City and elsewhere is to improvisation to write sketches and turn them into shows / reviews / whatever. Another aspect that is fair although improvisation pure.

I'm not saying one or the other is right. I'm jumping around the thoughts in my brain and transfer that to the written word.
