What Fender amp should I get?
I'm looking to get a Fender tube amp. I have a Peavey ValveKing 100 W stack, but their pain in! @ # To carry around because its so bulky. I was originally looking for a "59 BASSMAN reissue, but that proved too expensive. Im looking to invest about $ 1000, but the Bassman was $ 400 in it. Other possibilities:-Fender Blues Deville, Fender Blues Deluxe "Hot Rod Deville etc. Looking for great natural overdrive headroom, but also clean. I play in restaurants and small to medium sized bars and outside as well. I love playing blues and classic rock kind of thing. The Hi Fender Blues Deluxe is an amp much better than Hot Rod Blues Deville for the moment. As a matter of fact, is an amplifier that will be hard to beat if you are looking for the real blues sound. If you are looking for an amplifier that has all the modern advantages of a Fender Hot Rod DeVille, but it has the classic warm blues tone of an amplifier of the 1950s, the Fender Reissue Blues DeVille Amplifier an amplifier for you. This is the amp I recommend to you. When the crank this amp a little, the sound of blues back to life. As for the Fender Hot Rod Deville is nice, but not a blues amp in any way. It is a road through the amp. Finally, if you want to save money and get a full tube amp, including tubes in the pre-amplifier, so check out CRATE.
